Fantastic Mecklenburg home cooking. It is important that you reserve a table on the weekend or in the evening. I recommend the egg roast with raisin sauce, really awesome. Enjoy the meal.

Rustic traditional restaurant with German cuisine, everything freshly prepared and very tasty, good price / performance ratio, friendly, nimble service, we always like to come back here, some places in the outdoor pond available in the warm season, free parking spaces right next to the restaurant. Family owned Restaurant with a longer tradition and authentic local food.

I've been there yesterday for a funeral feast and I must admit they've done there job very well. We've been around 30 people and the waitress dedicated to us did as intended and better. Little complications were solved very quickly and everybody got served in the same moment. One can talk about the decoration as well as the fried smell in the premises, but for a countryside dinner with "Setzei" and other eastern german specialities as well as Mecklenburgian ones it's definately worth the visit. Enjoy it as if it was your last time travel into GDR - it was my grandgrandmother's favourite since many decades!

I was born in Schwerin and it's one of my fav restaurants in Schwerin. We always come here for our Christmas Lunch on the 2nd day after Christmas. The food is always soooo goood! It taste like homemade by grandma! The service is friendly and the prices are reasonable for what you get! They really have good German food!
